This photo shows the installation of the screen over the ventilation windows. I used aluminum window screening which is preferrable over the nylon, and I thought looked better than hardware cloth. The screen was cut bigger than the opening and the frame, mitered on 45° angles, was screwed through it into the wood. A little wood glue was also used under the window frame.
